Angry Bird Cupcake Toppers

Want to make your own Angry Bird cupcake toppers?

First, decide which Angry Birds you'd like to have. Bake your cupcakes and begin. *Note if you know ahead of time that you need to make these, you may make them and store them in an airtight container for a month or longer.

Step One

If you have angry bird stuffed animals, grab the ones you want to make and bring them to your work space. A quick image search also works well!

Step Two

Get all of your materials ready. For this project, you will need:

• Fondant or gum paste. You can color your own, or buy it pre colored. Either works!

• Edible Markers

• Sugar Glue - This is optional, but it is often helpful when attaching two dry pieces of fondant.

• Gum paste tools

• Mat or parchment paper

• rolling pin

Step Three

Now it is time to make the birds! Start by forming the body of one color bird. Add the features, working quickly so that the fondant add ons adhere well. If necessary, you may add sugar glue or water to help join the pieces to the body. Continue this process with all the birds you want to make!

Step Four

Place the birds on the cupcakes, and enjoy!
